And how long of a paper did I write on it? 7 pages typed in about 3 hours time. I essentialy wrote 1 and 3/4 pages for each stanza of the poem. It was ridiculous. But fun, to be honest. I have an interesting new perspective on the poem.

I couldn't see that this was his order, but I knew nonetheless. I had seen him do it in the four hours before now. Not that it was completely dark, either. The moon ouside shone brightly through the crisp autumn air, but I had closed my eyes shortly after night fell and was trying to sleep.
Then he'd start again.

Trinity Upon the RoodThe trinity upon the rood- Three nails in hands and feet. So pierced by the three am I On my Golgothan seat.Trinity Upon the Rood
Two criminals, one at each side, With me are cruxified. Our trinity of lawlessness, All victims of our pride.
These thieves have stolen worldly goods, A bit of food or gold. But my crime lie in theft of truth By every lie I told.
For if the crime of theft be judged By what one wrongly stole, Immeasurable is my crime In robbing mortal souls.
Now everything is gone from me, My ownings all cast down And r

In VerseOh will that I in versèd lines do speak, And in these proper ranks my soul outpour. Too temporal is voice, and song too weak, So in sweet rhymèd form hold I my store. A vocal love, alas, cannot endure, For love forsakes too quickly its dual roots, And as time pass, does not remain as pure. Yet love by verse doth forsake vain pursuits. A song, no favor over voice does hold. Melodious form in skill its faith doth place. Yet not in skill can lover’s truth be told, For liar’s skill lay in a lie’s embrace. So versèd truth can every fault subdue As love from oIn Verse

Heres to the man that you never saw
To the ripped off friend that you never had
Heres to the lies that you told
To the crack face, bullshit imbecile
Heres to the friends that you never had
To the childhood chums that wrote you off
Heres to the shit that you took
For everything and everyone who failed you

"Fill what's empty, empty what's full, and scratch where it itches." - the Duchess of Windsor, when asked what is the secret of a long and happy life.
it's a great feeling, to get praise for something i can only look at, shrug, and realize that it's just a thought that crossed my mind, except i made it rhyme (with careful re-reading and other filtering details of the like).
again, thank you.
